In Texas, Barack Obama is wooing the Latino vote with Mariachis:
Wow! And one of those Mariachis is a woman, even.
For the California primary, it was more of a Rap thing:
Come se dice?
Como se llama?
Obama!
Obama!
And then there's this:
All of which proves, as if there was any doubt, that the Democratic party is the party party!

I try not to be biased, but I swear, the worst attacks I've seen on Hillary seem to come from her own mouth.
I don't agree 100% with Obama, especially his take on NASA, a big deal for me, but he's still the candicate I am most excited about voting for, should he make it to the final ballot.
I have to agree with you, Alan. Both Clintons seem to keep shooting her in the foot, which is in her mouth.
Hmm...haven't heard Obama's vision for NASA. Now you have me curious.

Alan, thanks for the link. I'm relieved to see that he doesn't want to kill anything, just delay Constellation for 5 years to pay for educating tomorrow's aerospace engineers. I think education reform is desperately needed, and if not for the Iraq invasion and resulting historically huge deficit, we would have $$ to pay for this without the delay. Whoever is next in the hot seat will be starting out deeply in the red and will have to juggle priorities.
Anyway, I'd really like to see NASA drop everything for those 5 years and pour everything they've got into the most worthwhile project it could possibly address at this time: developing an entirely new propulsion system. This would pay off bigger than anything else down the road, and be good for the environment. The moon is kind of "been there, done that" anyway, and as for inspiration, it looks a lot better from Earth. Unless one is an ATV enthusiast, that is. I say, let's get that new propulsion going and head somewhere more interesting.
I'd hate to see them abandon the International Space Station, or the Hubble.
As to money for education, I agree that education is important, but numerous studies have shown that cash spent per student, and class size are not the problem; in my opinion it's simply crappy teachers. But they are entrenched, and have a powerful union, so sugestions that teachers should understand the subjects they teach are doomed to failure, and without a solid educational system... well, you can guess the rest.
